Basic Toe-Up Sock Class (April)

Basic Toe-Up Sock Class with Rhiannon
April 18th and 25th, 1 - 4 p.m. 
 
Learn how to make a pair of seamless socks from the toe up! Over the course of two sessions, we will cover Turkish cast-on, a reinforced slip rib, invisible ribbed bind-off, and sock construction, including heel flap and gusset. You will finish the class with one sock and the knowledge and pattern to make another!
 
Students should be comfortable with knitting, purling, increases, decreases, and picking up stitches. 
 
Supplies:
At least 400yds of sock yarn -- fingering weight with ~15% - 25% nylon 
Set of 5 US 2  (2.75 mm) 5 in. double-pointed needles
Set of 5 US 0  (2.75 mm) 5 in. double-pointed needles
Tapestry needle
 
Please come with your supplies prepared or arrive early to purchase yarn and needles in-store. 
 
This class will have a minimum of 2 and maximum of 5 students.
 
Class cancellations must be made 10 days in advance in order to get a 50% refund.  Cancellations after that will get no refund.  Our instructors require a minimum number of students to teach a class and they schedule their time accordingly.  We keep class sizes small so that students get personalized attention.  Thank you for your understanding.
