Karey is passionate about community, connection and education within the fiber community.
The Fiber Traveler fiber is from local CO farms as well as those around the country.  
Visiting small farms allows Karey to learn from the farmers while collecting fleeces.
Most are milled here in CO, and sold at Blazing Star Ranch.

All fiber will have some vegetative matter. The family run mills who process these fleeces do so without the use of harsh chemicals.
(often large commercial mills use chemicals aggressive enough to remove the VM by dissolving the vegetation)

I find that most VM is easily removable during spinning.
