Rigid Heddle Refresher Course!

$85.00Price

Did you take a class and forget how to start again?

Date: Oct 5th Time 12:30- 4:30

We will be working on a narrow warp, making mug rugs so we can start and finish in class together.

Pre-requisites: Previous beginning weaving class. You will be reminded of how to warp your loom again, but it is not intended for first time weavers. Bring your own loom if you have one. No stands please.

Supplies: 1 skein worsted weight yarn.   Tape measure, tapestry needle (I like the Schacht needle and hem stick card combo), measuring tape, scissors, pen or pencil, and brown paper grocery bags.

Class Minimum: 3

Instructor:   Mary Stever

To put it plainly I love fiber. I am a knitter, crocheter, a weaver and a spinner.  Weaving and spinning are my greatest loves.  I find spinning, especially on a spindle, very calming whereas weaving is exciting as you watch the creation of patterns and colors.  I am a firm believer that  there are no rights or wrongs when working with fiber. Ok, there are a few wrongs.  In general there are many different ways to do things and that you need to check them out and find out what works best for you.

Class cancellations must be made 10 days in advance in order to get a 50% refund.  Cancellations after that will get no refund.  Our instructors require a minimum number of students to teach a class and they schedule their time accordingly.  We keep class sizes small so that students get personalized attention.  Thank you for your understanding.
