APRIL Musselburgh Hat Cast On with Guest Instructor!

Learn the tips & tricks for the adaptable, creative & warm Musselburgh Hat by Ysolda Teague! This darling hat can be knit in a variety of yarn weights, fingering through DK. Rhianna will show many samples of the hat & lead participants in circular cast on. The beginning of the hat can be worked on magic loop or double point needles.
 
Participants will learn: circular cast on, understanding your gauge (no swatch required!), various fit options, endless creative possibilities. 
 
Participants should know: knit, increase & decrease, working in the round on circular needles. 
 
Participants should bring: fingering weight yarn or fingering plus mohair/silk (available at Blazing Star); double point needles or 40” circular needles, sizes 2,3,4; 16” circular needles, sizes 2,3,4; stitch markers, including one distinctive or different marker for beginning of round; usual bag of knitting notions & tools.

Class cancellations must be made 10 days in advance in order to get a 50% refund.  Cancellations after that will get no refund.  Our instructors require a minimum number of students to teach a class and they schedule their time accordingly.  We keep class sizes small so that students get personalized attention.  Thank you for your understanding.
