Colorado Alpaca Yarn PRE-SALE!

We have about 60 animals in our heard, and they get shorn once a year- usually in May. We keep some fleeces aside for a year while they do the competitive show circuit, a few fleeces go to dryer balls, and the littlest of our heard aren’t ready until they are a year old to have a full fleece to contribute. The rest of our animals provide an assortment of natural colored, beautiful, soft yarns and spinning fiber! These prime blankets range from 3-4.5 lbs on average. 

We send these fleeces to a mill in Utah who specializes in grading and processing alpaca. It can take 3-10 months to get yarn and fiber back and ready for our customers. 

Why are we doing a pre-sale? We have a few hundred pounds of fiber to get processed, and the mill bills us for everything we send in all at once. The more of the bill we have paid for, the more fleeces can be put into processing!
